Our main character of the series, Andrew Alexandro Dillon begins his trucking career a bit shaky and uncertain but ultimately pulls through and excels (after many tribulations, road blocks and inexplicable mishaps and set backs...) well, excels to the best of his ability.

Andrew's goal is to drive a million miles and make a million dollars  but that road is a long and arduous one, especially with all the misadventures and unexpected happenings that arise at any given moment on the road. During the beginning of his journey, Andrew already has to face the toughest obstacles and hazards on the road, some paranormal in nature. But nevertheless, Andrew is determined to get his loads to the customer in one piece, and, probably on time. (punctuality is not one of his strengths.) 

  Early on, Andrew discovered a natural gift for the backing maneuver which helped him in and out of plenty of situations and tests while on the road. He can back into any door from nearly any angle no matter the size of the lot he is in, he always finds a way, just like he always finds a place to park because he doesn't really like parking at truck stops and usually they're full anyway.
