Skelliza was originally a Hanging ghoul, sentenced to hang in the Hanging Woods for her afterlife. But after being saved by Mister Oh, she is now employed under Lord Necrow as a member of his Deadly Gang of Creeps. 

  Her background is kinda dark. She comes from a place in time that was hit with a zombie apocalypse. After realizing that her friends and family had all been eaten, she decided to take her own life rather than be eaten alive by zombies. The anorexic young woman grabs a rope in the garage and hangs herself, but unfortunately, she survives the hanging, only succeeding in breaking her neck. Even worse, zombies managed to break into the garage and they fed on her body, eating every piece of flesh except for her head which was too high for them to reach. So, after falling into Death Valley, she was sentenced to hang in the Hanging Woods and retained her skeletal appearance. Necrow liked her pretty face so he left that as is.  

   Skelliza's recurring goal throughout the comic is to acquire the perfect, most ideal body that she never had when she was alive. As long as she could remember, she had always been skin and bones but her delusion saw a fat cow. In Death Valley, her perception of herself was fixed only to see that she was beyond skinny, just a walking skeleton. She now realized that she took her bodily appearance for granted in life and probably deserves her new skeleton appearance.
