Toasty the Ghost was a regular user of psychadelics in his living life. But one day, Toasty tripped way too hard and started hallucinating that he was a piece of toast and that a hungry guy was trying to eat him. The guy was chasing him around his apartment, trying to slather him with butter and jam. Actually, first, Toasty is put into a toaster as a person, then after cooking, he pops out as an actual toasted piece of bread, then his roommate, who was also tripping hard, decided to try an eat him. After a long while of chsing Toasty around the apartment, Taosty is finally caught by his hungry roommate who cuts him several times with a butter knife while slathering butter and jam all over him. In reality, this was all in the roommates head, he was actually slashing him violently then eating him alive thinking he was a real lifesize piece of toast. Toasty died of his injuries having been eaten by his roommate and then sent to Death Valley. The roommate can be revealed as being Mister Spoo in Death Valley.

Being a Sugarfiend and dying while tripping, Taosty retained his hallucinated state of a lifesize toast. The square of butter in the center of his chest is believed to be his heart. Toasty the Ghost is sentenced to work at a bakery. Most of his savings are used to buy candy that is until Mister Spoo suggests they become the distributors.

He and Mister Spoo live in a toaster house as roommates.
